Deputy Director General Zhao Yong of General Administration of Sports of China and His Party Investigated City Weiqi League

      In the morning of November 29^th, Deputy Director General Zhao Yong of General Administration of Sports of China, Deputy Director Peng Wei Yong of Economy Division of General Administration of Sports of China and their party inspected Nan Guo Yi Yuan and investigated City Weiqi League under the accompany of Director General Li Ze of Guangxi Sports Bureau, the president Lei Xiang of Huazhi City Weiqi League Sports Industry Co., Ltd and others.  The president Lei Xiang reported the development achievements of the CWL’s three years operation to Deputy Director General Zhao Yong.  Deputy Director General Zhao Yong signified: “I got a profound impression of CWL when I made a first contact with CWL in the Shanghai CWL Carnival on February of this year.  Later, Chess and Card Sports Management Center reported the progress of CWL to me in several times. Today I visit the Nan Guo Yi Yuan, and listen the comprehensive presentation, which deepens my impression of CWL, and I feel delightful for what I saw and what I listend inspired me.”

      Deputy Director General Zhao Yong highly affirmed the CWL’s development achievements of this three years, and considered that CWL is the example of social power operating sport project, sport project development and sports reform, and CWL led on the overall sport reform deepening.  He proposed a requirement with eight Chinese words to CWL: Bravely Stand on The Time Tidehead, Make It Bigger and Stronger.   He emphasized that the key is to do well the following five matters: first, the match system should be more scientifically, and the league rank should climb up to the Chinese top level; second, CWL should innovate business mode; third, develop the complex of Mind Sports; fourth, utilize the internet to popularize Go game; fifth, promote the internationalization of Go game.  He wished CWL would constantly summarize experience and improve itself, to grow into an international top level match brand. 

      Deputy Director General Zhao Yong represented that General Administration of Sports of China would give CWL a strongly support on the aspects such as moral principle, propaganda, government purchase, the construction of Mind Sports Industry Research Base and Mind Sports Complexes, etc.
