City Weiqi League’s Weiqi Carnival‧Guangxi Nanning City Weiqi League 2017 Season Opening Series Activities, cosponsored by the International Mind Sports Association, China Weiqi Association, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Sports Bureau, Nanning opened grandly in Guangxi Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center on 24th to 25th June. Du Ying Deputy Director of Committee for Ethnic and Religious of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Huang Weijing Vice-chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Ding Tingmo Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People’s Congress, Wen Ming former Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People’s Congress, Liu Guoyong Director of Mass Sports Department of General Administration of Sport of China, Luo Chaoyi Director & Secretary of Chess & Card Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sport of China, Wang Runan Chairman of Chinese Weiqi Association, etc. dozens of leaders and honored guest, Weiqi group celebrities and business elites presented on this opening ceremony. Rong Jianxing president of City Weiqi League, Luo Chaoyi Director & Secretary of Chess & Card Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sport of China and Li Ze Director of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Sports Bureau successively made a speech .
As well as the main event-regular season’s first to third round matches of CWL 2017 season and the popular Hundred-groups campaign (fans Weiqi relay match) were held, the carnival also had CWL children Weiqi groups classic match, lightening match and professional chess players teaching games suitable for adults and children, “Weiqi+” forum, Weiqi small class, celebrities’ autographed copy sale, charity auction, health lecture, products market, Weiqi and Spreading Seminar for related professionals and others dozens of activities.
Through first to third rounds of battles of wits and courage, the strength of the teams just were revealed. The following tables were the accumulate points condition of 32 clubs till 25th June in Regular Match:
